FAQ

Is it really free, for companies too?

Yes. MIT licensed: commercial, internal and client work are all free, with no license keys.

Does my content go to 82editor.com?

No. Content is never sent anywhere. Once a day the editor reports which domain runs which version. Turn it off with telemetry: false; localhost and intranet hosts never report.

Does it work offline or on an intranet?

Download the CDN files and host them yourself. The usage report is the only outgoing request, and intranet hosts skip it.

Which browsers?

Current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox, Samsung Internet, iOS and Android browsers, and in-app browsers. Not Internet Explorer.

Where do I report bugs?

In the forum, with steps to reproduce and your browser.
